Illustration
Illustrating started with my love for nature, culinary art & colours. In my teens, I was already obsessed with colour theories, their meaning, historical development, and of course their origins. After this dip into the theoretical realm, I started to experiment with this super exciting knowledge of the use of colour and its composition in my landscape architecture studies. Combining these three passions - nature, culinary art & colours - it wasn’t long before I started to sketch, draw & paint. Illustrating the world and the beauty, knowledge & wisdom around me is always exciting. My style varies with the message I want to communicate.
I love to draw and illustrate all sorts of food & plants, but also informative illustrations accompanying e.g. academical posters, papers or non-fiction books.
