Hey there, I’m Nina!

I’m a Vienna based, designer, illustrator & artist specialising in food, plants, and nature itself. As a trained landscape architect I always felt the need to be in contact with the natural world and everything it has to offer – especially all the edible bits and pieces. I started cooking at a very young age and am still madly in love with it. Since I was always taking photos and sketching my natural surroundings, it wasn’t long before I started documenting all kinds of food. In 2018 I travelled to Sicily for the whole summer to follow my passion for citrus fruits, and I am still absolutely mad about them. After this experience, I graduated as a Book Designer from the New Design University in Austria and I have now been working as a freelance artist since 2019. I just love all kinds of plants, how they look, feel & smell - even the ugly ones! Nature is unbelievably fascinating, so I just have to draw my inspiration from it.

I love to read, especially cookbooks and I am absolutely passionate about art, aesthetics, and just making the world a bit more beautiful!

One other fun fact about me

“Within me, there is a natural sustainably caring but also a more crazy-neon-cotton-candy woman. They live harmoniously side by side, one sometimes louder than the other. This coexistence is quite exciting, especially during a creative process.

I hope one day, you’ll see for yourself, what I mean!”
